New review of ASuite 1.5.2 with video

Despite its age, ASuite 1.5.2 is yet a popular launcher and I'm proud when somebody help me to spread the word about my software.

In fact, Frederick Barton (FindMySoft's editor) wrote a short review about ASuite 1.5.2 and make a short video, showcasing launcher's menus and features. Thank you Frederick and thank you FindMySoft.

There are two reasons why I still use Version 1.5.1
1. Version 1.5.1 is quicker and more stable than the versions above.
2. The core reason why I still use ASuite is that Version 1.5.X still has a good search function to add software. Most of the other lounchers do not have this function - at least not as good as realized in ASuite.

Really very helpful software! Helped me a lot in sorting my issues. Thanks a lot for sharing!!

hello:

your project is great, is very simple and powerful.
Do you have an update?
Maybe you can add a search in web and other applications.

Thanks a lot

ASuite could be very useful to give a workgroup access to a common set of programs: Install it on a server volume and let it point to programs on that server. All users get access to the same programs - this is nice.

A little draw-back: There is no "read-only" mode with respect to the configuration in ASuite.xml. Therefore, the configuration on different clients interfere with each other. If, on the other hand "ASuite.xml" is made read-only, there is an issue at program exit: ASuite cannot exit because it wants to write the configuration file in any case.

It would be helpful if there could be a read-only mode for "normal users" while in read/write-mode (admin mode) the configuration can get prepared for them.

Thank you Frederick and thank you FindMySoft.
